The 2011 Ford Mustang will get a new Duratec 3.7-liter V-6 engine to replace the 4.0-liter V-6 engine currently found under the hood of the 2010 Mustang according to Ford Motor Company. The new 2011 Mustang V-6 engine will be a 24-valve DOHC engine with an all aluminum light-weight block. This new V-6 engine will increase horsepower and torque ratings signifigantly to that of their competitors. Expect to see horsepower numbers in the range of 260-290 for the 2011 Mustang V-6.
