ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit now Available for 2011 Mustang GT 5.0

At this years Woodward Dream Cruise Roush Performance unveiled their new 5.0-liter ROUSHcharger Tuner kit for the 2011 Mustang GT.  The new ROUSHcharger system for the 5.0 can pump out over 550 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft of torque using pump gasoline.  The 5.0 ROUSHcharger kit will retail for $5,999 and is now available to order.

Based on the popular TVS2300 ROUSHcharger, the 5.0L ROUSHcharger Tuner Kit comes with a 90mm pulley and generates an estimated seven pounds of boost. Included in the kit are 47 lb. fuel injectors, high-flow fuel rails, a high-flow ROUSH air lid, and a twin 60mm throttle body. Details emerge on Shelby’s 1,000 Horsepower Twin-Turbo GT500 Package

Billboard Advertisement for 2012 Mustang Boss 302

Seems like Ford is spreading the word about their newly unveiled 2012 Mustang Boss 302 by way of billboard advertising.  I came across this photo on one of the Mustang forums I frequent but unfortunately no details were mentioned on its whereabouts.  The small print on the bottom right does read “Coming March 2011.  Shown with options”.  The options would be that of the Laguna Seca Package as its shown.  If you have seen a billboard like this in your city let us know where you live.  Click the image above for a larger view.  Enjoy…

Man buys Winning GT500 Raffle ticket minutes before drawing at QuakeCon

In a previous post we told you about QuakeCon, the free event held for gamers in Dallas, Texas each year and that Ventrillo, one of the sponsors was giving away two 2011 Shelby GT500’s as prizes. To be eligible to win those GT500’s QuakeCon gave away 100 raffle tickets for various things over the weekend. Just before the drawing took place one of the ticket holders sold his raffle ticket to another guy at the event for $200 thinking he made out pretty good. Well, not so much as the guy who bought the ticket ended up winning one of the 2011 Shelby GT500’s and it was all caught on tape, even the transaction between the two guys. Livernois Motorsports 2009 Shelby GT1000R on the dyno

The latest project from Livernois Motorsports is a 1,000 horsepower 2009 Shelby GT500 dubbed the GT1000R. What does 1,000 horsepower sound like, well crank up your volume and have a listen.

The 2009 Shelby GT500 “GT1000R” features a Ford GT aluminum block bored to 358ci with a 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger, kooks headers & off-road h-pipe, Magnaflow catback, BMR suspension and a 10-point roll cage for saftey.
