2012 Boss 302 ‘S’ Race-Prepared road race Mustang coming from Ford Racing

**Update** - Ford Racing will unveil the Boss 302S at the Performance Racing Industry show (PRI) in Orlando, Florida taking place December 9-11.

Ford Racing will be announcing a new race-prepared Boss 302S road racing Mustang sometime soon but for now the specs, details and pricing have been posted over at FordRacingParts.com.  Also a few leaked photos have surfaced of the new Boss 302S which shows a reworked front fascia and hood with black heat extractors.

2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 revealed on SPEED TV

Ebay: Ford Dealer auctioning his 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca allocation

My Ebay posts have been pretty scarce as of late and almost non-existance but lately I have been scanning the auction site to see whats available.  Today I came across an auction for the not yet released 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca edition which is being auctioned by Sarasota Ford in Sarasota, Florida.  The Ford dealer is receiving allocation for one Laguna Seca packaged Mustang Boss 302 and he has turned to Ebay to try and sell the pre-order slot.

2011 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Test Drive by Hot Rod Magazine

Hot Rod Magazine recently had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the 2011 Shelby GT500 Super Snake for a test drive in SoCal cruising up and down Mullholland Drive.  Editor Rob Kinnan was the lucky guy piloting the Whipple supercharged 750 horsepower beast which he says is a “brutally fast car”.  Check out the video after the jump for some nice audio of the 2011 GT500 Super Snake as it roars down Mullholland Drive.

Car and Driver’s 10 Best includes the 2011 Ford Mustang GT

The 2011 Ford Mustang GT has been named one of Car and Driver’s 10 best autos of the year for the sixth time in history.  It may not seem like the best honor in the world but given the company the Mustang GT was in you will soon realize its an honor worth celebrating.   Other vehicles in the top ten include the BMW M3, Cadillac CTS-V, Porsche Boxter/Cayman, VW Golf/GTI, Honda Accord, Chevrolet Volt, Mazda Miata, Honda Fit and the Hyundai Sonata.

2012 Shelby GT500 Order Guide and Prices Released

The 2012 Shelby GT500 order guide has been released and for all practical purposes the car will remain the same as the 2011 model with a few option changes.  The changes for 2012 include new illuminated dual vanity mirrors, univeral garage door opener and a multi purpose/interchangeable storage system.  Also leather Recaro Sport Seats with Accent Stripes (88Q) are now available to replace the stock seats.  The only other change for 2012 includes the option to upgrade your wheels … Continue Reading
