$30k is not a bad price for how much horsepower you get out of the car. I just want to see what this car does at the track first.
Nice article. I wanna know, where did you get the PDF file link from?
A buddy of mine sent me the pdf file last night.
For 2011, Mustang’s new 3.7-liter Duratec 24-valve V-6 uses advanced engineering to deliver its power and economy: Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) adjusts the valvetrain in microseconds. Aluminum construction means light weight. It’s an engine designed to crank out torque down low, rev to 7,000 rpm and deliver the mechanical music sports coupe lovers crave everywhere in between. The 2011 Ford Mustang puts 305 high-performance horses in the hands of V-6 coupe buyers with a new all-aluminum dual-overhead cam (DOHC) engine that delivers a projected 30 mpg on the highway with a six-speed automatic transmission and fun for drivers on nearly every road.
Do you know WHEN this car will hit the dealerships and be available for sale and delivery? Please advise.
Many Thanks,
Jim
Uh, you guys are acting like V6 Mustangs have no significance. But, they are the bread and butter of the model line, almost outselling the V8 2-1. In fact, that is why the Camaro and Firebird went away because they couldn’t sell enough V6 models to justify keeping the model going. If it wasn’t for the V6 Mustang, there would be no Mustang at all. Other than that history lesson, I agree with the new V6 accolades.
