Up until now we have been made aware of every intimate detail about the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 including the optional two key system but one small important piece has been missing, the price. Today we put the pricing rumors to bed as the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 will carry an MSRP of $40,995 which includes destination and delivery. The price was pretty much the consensus around the Mustang forums but most thought Ford would keep it under $40K, well they were close.
A Recaro seat and torsen differential option package will run you an additional $1,995. A Boss 302 Accessory Package (car cover and floor mats) will cost you $475 if you opt for it. Also the Yellow Blaze Tricoat Metallic paint will add even more at a cost $495. A Yellow Blaze Mustang Boss 302 pace car will lead the field this weekend for the final race of the NASCAR Nationwide race at Homestead Miami Speedway.
The Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca package will have an MSRP of $47,990 which includes destination and delivery. A Boss 302 accessory package is also available for this model as well with a cost of $475.

this car is nice but i don’t think it would not be roomy inside i would love to look in it and i will tell u what i think
I saw the documentary on Speed last night, this car is insane!!!!! The 2 key setup for street and strip driving is absolutely revolutionary. This, in it’s relatively low production numbers, car will not stay in the showrooms for long.
you could purchase an m3 for this price, have better handling, braking, german engineering, last but not least an engine that is actually built for racing. having a key to “unlock” the car’s true potential is a gimmick that tailors to 16 year old kids.
it’s not like this car is a viper – this has traction control, abs, etc. – it’s not going to kill you because you turned the engine on with a “super key”. this garbage is what makes a ford a ford and what separates it from an m3. an m3 has a “sport” (m) button (which can be pressed at anytime), and increases the throttle response – this is because each cylinder has it’s own butterfly for ridiculous throttle response (incomparable to other cars in this price range)… with this turned off, i can let my wife drive the car – with it on, it’s “too jerky”. sometimes, on the highway – she will turn it on, as it “feels” like it improves the low end torque (it really just opens the throttle more for a given throttle input) – to have her use a key? it would never happen. again, a gimmick. i like this car, but the color scheme screams “look at me!!” and i personally don’t care about things like this. i don’t want the police looking at my car – it makes a lot more sense to drive a fast car fast – not drive it slow because you need to be cognizent of other people (including kids driving their civic “faux type r” wanting to “race”).
m3 price for less performance (yes it’s faster around a few tracks) – but the m3 is a car you can drive everyday without looking like a tool. on top of this, the build quality (of just the powertrain) is proven to be reliable. i would worry every time i would bring this thing to it’s redline – the m3, on the other hand, loves it when i do this.
First of all, which M3 can you purchase for this price? Listen pal, you cannot even buy the twin turbo overheat and shutdown special 1 series M car for the BOSS 302 base. Oh, the super key is garbage? Like BMW is void of gimmicks in their cars? Spare me. Go play with the stupid I drive in a BMW. Reliable? Laughable. Utter nonsense. BMW is a grand experiment in Stockholm Syndrome for their owners. How about bushings that fail after a couple of years or just 40k miles, causing brakes to jerk and requiring aftermarket parts to have longevity. How about all the plastic water pumps in BMW 3 series cars, and radiator failure, and oh, so many rear suspension mounts ripping out of the ass end of the cars that there is a huge class action lawsuit against BMW! Well lets see, how about all the e46 M3 cars that had engines blow up in the first couple of production years to to oil problems and requirements. How about crap like power windows and sunroofs failing all the time at huge expense, and things like DISA valves that are always about to get sucked into the inline six engines and have to be replaced. Yeah the BMW 3 series is really freekin’ reliable- my ass! Oh, and yes, vanos failure and vanos valve gear timing system failure and rough running is so common that there is a business that sells nothing but aftermarket Vanos kits for the BMW six cyl engines. So the loaded 330 3 series performance pack that you could buy for what a base BOSS 302 has all these repairs and problems to look forward to, and more! Check out where BMW is in reliability ratings now. BMW reliability, BIG LIE! I had 2 3 series cars and know lots of people with M3’s. Never again!
They are GARBAGE, over price, over loaded, over weight status symbols for fool!

Direct from BMW’s site the car starts at $61k. Glad there are idiots in the world like you who reduce the actual demand for good deals.
well you obviously don’t know the true meaning behind the second key. Corvette even has this option, its so when you give your car to the valet parker he can only drive in a limited state rendering the car useless for ricki racing or hot rodding while you try to enjoy your dinner with the family or date. I like this!
