The 2011 Ford Mustang GT has been named one of Car and Driver’s 10 best autos of the year for the sixth time in history. It may not seem like the best honor in the world but given the company the Mustang GT was in you will soon realize its an honor worth celebrating. Other vehicles in the top ten include the BMW M3, Cadillac CTS-V, Porsche Boxter/Cayman, VW Golf/GTI, Honda Accord, Chevrolet Volt, Mazda Miata, Honda Fit and the Hyundai Sonata.
On why the Mustang GT made the 10 best list this year, Car and Driver says, “The GT is the ideal blend of performance and value, serving up brutal muscle, daily usability, and the agility of an honest-to-Edsel sports coupe at an eminently fair $30,495.”
