Ford Mustangs Fetch Big Bucks at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction

At this years Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona a slew of Ford Mustangs fetched big bucks as the auctions biggest day came to a close.  Every year at BJ the big day is Saturday when all the high dollar vehicles go across the stage and it stayed true to form as several Mustangs brought in big dollars.  Leading the way was the 2011 Mustang GT Daytona 500 pace car which brought in $300,000.  Not far behind was a 1970 Mustang Boss 429 that went for $275,000, the first 1966 Shelby GT350 went for $247,500, the 1967 Ring Brothers Reactor Mustang sold for $253,000 and Sonny & Cher’s Mustangs went for a combined $150,700.
