Livernois Motorsports 2009 Shelby GT1000R on the dyno

The latest project from Livernois Motorsports is a 1,000 horsepower 2009 Shelby GT500 dubbed the GT1000R. What does 1,000 horsepower sound like, well crank up your volume and have a listen.

The 2009 Shelby GT500 “GT1000R” features a Ford GT aluminum block bored to 358ci with a 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger, kooks headers & off-road h-pipe, Magnaflow catback, BMR suspension and a 10-point roll cage for saftey. On the dyno the GT1000R made 1,006 horsepower and 916 lb-ft of torque. After the jump I have listed the complete parts list for the GT1000R if you are interested.
