This past weekend the 2010 Formula Drift season opener took place in Long Beach, California with Vaughn Gittin Jr. taking home first place over Rhys Millen and his Hyundai Genesis coupe. Vaugn’s new 2011 Mustang GT powered by a supercharged 4.6-liter V-8 engine features Monster Energy Drink as the new sponsor for the 2010 season. Another of Vaugn’s sponsors Falken Tire supplied their new RT-615K tires for him to smoke around the drift course.
