Note to self, never take your friends fathers Shelby GT500 out for a spin without his knowledge.  The story goes, the dude driving the car is a 19 year-old kid who does yard work and washes his friends fathers vehicles who spends most of his time out of town.  Somehow the kid broke into the garage and obtained the keys to the Shelby GT500 which only had 1300 miles on it.  He than took it out for a night of street racing and cruising around with some friends

Mustang Boss 302 #0001 purchased at Texas Ford Dealership

TSB issued by Ford for 2011-12 Mustangs with cold shifting problems

This post is just a heads up for owners of 2011-12 Ford Mustangs who are having some cold shifting problems with their MT82 6-speed manual transmissions.  Ford has addressed the situation by issuing a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) to owners of 2011-12 Mustangs.  Basically owners are experiencing increased shift efforts in cold temperatures.  As an owner of 2011 Mustang with a six-speed I can attest to this.  When the weather was cold here in Texas I had issues getting the car in gear at times but after the car warmed up there were no issues. … Continue Reading
