Gathering of Eagles charity raises $400,000 with auction of Blue Angels Mustang

The one-off Blue Angels edition 2012 Mustang GT hit the auction block on July 28th at the Gathering of Eagles charity auction and it brought home a final bid of $400,000.  The auction took place during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Air Venture event in Oshkosh, WI.  Auction proceeds will go to the EAA Young Eagles organization which furthers the development of young people interested in aviation.  Read more about the EAA event and the auction below. … Continue Reading

Derek Jeter Ford Mustang Commercial

Ford not switching to Mustang design, instead staying with Fusion for 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup

It was expected Ford Motor Company would switch from the design of the Fusion to the Mustang for the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup but plans have changed.  Ford has opted to keep the Fusion design for Sprint Cup and keep the Mustang platform for the Nationwide series.

Earlier in the year Vaughn Gittin Jr. was invited to visit Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a guest of Ford Middle East. While there Vaughn performed in a drifting demo as part of the Action Ha race weekend at Al Reem circuit. After the demo was finished Vaughn spent a couple extra days in Saudi Arabia filming ‘Drifting in the K.S.A.”. Vaughn was given free reign of the entire motorsports complex including parking lots, garages and storage areas to do what he does best, Drift.
