I am finally getting around to updating you folks on the auction for the one-of-a-kind 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca that was painted in School Bus Yellow.  I am happy to announce the auction ended with a high bid of $300,000.  The winner of the auction was Sam Pack, president of Pack Automotive Group in Dallas/Fort Worth.  Sam Pack has been a Ford dealer since 1980 and before that he worked for Ford Motor Credit in Texas for 18 years.  He has several dealerships in the DFW metroplex. … Continue Reading

Over on Facebook today several photos were posted of Ford Racing engineers testing the 2013 Mustang Cobra Jet at Milan Dragway.  I guess this is their way of confirming the Cobra Jet for the 2013 model year.  In those photos we can clearly see a 5.0-liter V8 under the hood of one of the test mules.  So you will now have the option of purchasing 2013 Cobra Jet with the Coyote V8 or the 5.4-liter V8, nice choice to have.  Check out all the photos after the jump… … Continue Reading

Hennessey Performance was out doing some quarter mile testing with its HPE700 Boss 302 Laguna Seca and it came away with a pretty impressive time.  Their 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca has been outfitted with Hennessey’s HPE700 package which includes a TVS2300 supercharger, pulley upgrade, air-to-water intercooler, electronic exhaust dumps and more.
