The 2012 Barrett-Jackson collector car auction is right around the corner and just like previous years Ford Motor Company and Carroll Shelby seem to be teaming up again for another high profile auction.  Browsing through the auction list we came upon a listing for Lot# 3043 which happens to be a 2013 Shelby GT500.  In the listing it does not give any specific information or a VIN but it does say it will be a “special 2013 Shelby GT500″ whatever … Continue Reading

Twin-Turbo 2011 Mustang GT Project Car by Jon Lund means business

December 19, 2011 Mustang News No Comments

twinturbo5.0_1

Well known Ford tuner Jon Lund has his hands full with his latest project, a twin turbo 2011 Mustang GT capable of running mid 9’s. Early testing at the drag strip on the twin turbo setup has yielded a 10.72@131.8 on 8 psi, not bad for a first run with the stock 19″ wheels up front and 15″ drag radials out back. What is more mind blowing is these numbers are achieved with a bone stock Mustang GT with the exception of lowering springs and an off-road x-pipe. … Continue Reading

We can add two more 2012 Mustang Boss 302’s to the dead pool including a Laguna Seca edition.  These two additions make five Boss 302 Mustangs that have been totaled out so far this year. We have wrote about the other three and those had stories to go with them but for these two all we have are photos and VIN’s.  The Kona Blue Boss 302 looks to have hit a pole front and center and the Laguna Seca looks to have been in a front end collisison.  Check out all the photos after the jump. … Continue Reading
