The 2013 Mustang order guide has been released by Ford for the GT, V6 and Boss 302 models in .pdf form. New changes for the 2013 Ford Mustang include the addition of three new colors, School Bus Yellow which is exclusive to the Boss models, Gotta Have It Green and Deep Impact Blue. In the design department Ford has updated the front and rear fascias with GT500 styling, new hood for GT model with heat extractor vents,new color matched rocker panels, new honeycomb grille and redesigned rear taillights for all models.
On the inside the 2013 Mustang will now feature a Leather-wrapped steering wheel with speed and audio controls which will be standard on all models, also a new 4.2-inch LCD productivity screen for premium models, HID and LED lighting, increase to 420 horsepower for GT model and two new audio system options.
New functional equipment include Hill-assist functionality on all manual transmissions with the Automatic transmission receiving Select-Shift functionality.
The 2013 model year order banks opened on December 5, 2011. Ford will begin building 2013 Ford Mustangs on February 27, 2012 (Job #1).
