The owner of a 2011 Mustang V6 found out the hard way why Ford put a 112 mph speed limiter on the engine. After removing the speed limiter and driving to a speed of 135 mph the Mustang V6’s driveshaft abruptly failed creating chaos for the driver. Not only was the driveshaft destroyed but the floorpan was punctured, the transmission shifter broke, the parking brake broke and a few interior parts were damaged. Check out the video below.

What a faggot for speeding on public roads. To bad the car didn’t flip over, catch fire & burn his ass alive.
BrutherSuperior reads my comments…lolz
Although it is not safe to speed like that on a public road, we all do it from time to time if we have the ability. The fact is that Ford created a 305hp car that was limited to 114mph, at least my 2014 is, and to my knowledge the base Camaro, Charger, and Challenger don’t do that. 114mph is not much even for a 200hp car, so it’s pretty sad. Being that cars in the 300hp range can usually go to around 150mph, it’s not surprising this guy tried what he did. I would do the same and will but am reading up to be safe. I’m sure I’ll be replacing my driveshaft as well. If this is the same guy I’ve been reading about on other sites, he asked Ford what the limiter was for, and they said it was because of the tires. He had Z-rated tires and other sport equipment and that road looks obviously barren though a racetrack would be best. Ford should’ve known people would try to take such a wimpy limitation off and should let the customers know the potential risks. In my opinion Ford shouldn’t have such a crappy driveshaft on the car in the first place. I believe it’s for better fuel mileage but mine gets between 21/22mpg using both fwy/city which isn’t all that great. It does awesome on just fwy though, calculated 33mpg once.
That’s not right. Ford shouldn’t do that to a 305hp car. It’s stupid.
