PhotoGate: Shelby released two doctored Shelby 1000 press photos by accident

2012 Shelby 1000 Mustang post-title package to debut at New York Auto Show

One of the many stops on Shelby American’s 50th Anniversary tour this year is the New York International Auto Show which takes place April 4-15.  Just like last year Shelby plans to introduce a new vehicle at the show and all signs point to the 2013 Shelby GT500 ‘Super Snake’ post-title package.  Can you say 900 Horsepower ‘Super Snake’!  Its not unimaginable considering the 2013 GT500 pumps out 650 horsepower with its supercharged 5.8-liter V8 engine. … Continue Reading

Roush teases us with 2013 Stage 3 Mustang photos

Roush continued the slow strip tease of their latest offering, the 2013 Roush Stage 3 Mustang with another photo posted to their Facebook page.  So far Roush has posted up five photos of the new yet to be revealed 2013 RS3 Mustang.  The latest photo reveals the hood with its center mounted scoop between the heat extractor vents.

Microsoft Mustang dubbed ‘Project Detroit’ dazzles with high-tech gadgets

Microsoft and custom car builder West Coast Customs teamed up to build ‘Project Detroit’, a sinister looking one-off Ford Mustang that showcases what developers can do with Windows, Windows Phone, Windows Azure, Xbox, Kinect and Bing.  The ‘Project Detroit’ Mustang will be featured on an upcoming episode of Inside West Coast Customs this Sunday March 25th at 9 p.m. eastern.

The vehicle started life as a 2012 Mustang GT and was soon mated with the shell from a Dynacorn 1967 Mustang Fastback.  Basically WCC cut the body off of the 2012 Mustang GT and added the 1967 Mustang shell on top.  All the suspension, engine, transmission and interior remains from the 2012 Mustang.  WCC than painted the Mustang matte black and added blue neon lights all around even on the wheels. … Continue Reading

2013 Mustang Reviews and First Drives posted online

This past week Ford held a media event in Portland, Oregon for various automotive news outlets and magazines to drive the 2013 Mustang and give their reviews of the vehicle.  The Mustangs represented at the media event included the V6, GT and California Special models in coupe and convertible form.  Reviews of the 2013 Mustang started showing up this morning on some of the major automotive news sites.

Video: Mustang Driver Gets Arrested During Massive Burnout

In Houston, Texas a Mustang driver thought it would be cool to do a massive burnout in front of a large crowd of people in a parking lot.  The only thing wrong was a police car with two Harris County Sherriff Deputy’s was close by and they arrested him mid-burnout, no joke.

In the video you will see a few small burnouts and than the Mustang driver lets loose with his tire shredding burnout.  After the driver is pulled from his vehicle he is led away in handcuffs. 2013 Mustangs invade Portland, Oregon for media event
