Winning the Lottery is suppose to be a blessing but for one Squamish, British Columbia resident it turned out to be a nightmare as he crashed his new 2012 Mustang Boss 302 with three kids inside.

Motor Trend was able to secure a 2013 Shelby GT500 to run through the paces and establish some performance numbers for the latest episode of ‘Ignition’. It was not long ago that 500 horsepower was a bench mark for street cars and some drag cars but these days its merely the stock horsepower for production cars including the Shelby GT500 and the ZL1 Camaro.  So when I first read about a 3000 horsepower Mustang Mach 1 I quickly laughed it off as a joke but as my curiosity got the best of me I realized this Mustang was for real.

Garage Find: Rare 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible found in South Florida

A 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible has been found and this time the rare piece of automotive history turned up in a South Florida garage where it sat for the past 31 years. The Shelby GT500 was parked in the South Florida garage with only 53,000 original miles and now its up for auction on eBay.

The story goes, a 23-year-old woman traded her 1965 GT350 for the brand new 1968 Shelby GT500 convertible and it was driven for awhile until the big block engine blew.  The owner replaced the big block with a less than stellar replacement small block Ford engine.  The owner was not happy with the performance of the small block and therefore parked the Shelby GT500 in the garage and never drove it again. … Continue Reading

2012-13 Mustang Recalled for Transmission Range Sensor (TRS)

The latest recall from Ford Motor Company has them recalling 10,500 vehicles, including an unknown number of 2012-13 Ford Mustangs.  The recall also affects 2012 Expeditions, 2011-12 F-150’s and 2012 Navigators for transmission and light calibration issues.  For the Mustang the recall centers around a transmission range sensor (TRS) for reverse that was incorrectly calibrated according to the specifications. … Continue Reading
