Carroll Shelby, legendary racer, automobile builder and philanthropist passed away May 10, 2012 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.

Born on January 11, 1923, in East Texas, Shelby is considered one of the truly great American success stories of the 20th century. Race car driver, WWII “Flying Sergeant”, philanthropist, automotive entrepreneur and racing team owner, he came to embody the ingenuity, tenacity and grit needed to win during his 60+ year career.

This weekend in Braselton, Georgia Round 2 of Formula Drift takes over Road Atlanta with Vaughn Gittin Jr. poised to put on another good showing.  With one Formula D race in the bag Vaughn currently sits in 17th position but he is hopeing to make up some ground on the leaders this weekend.

We are still two years away from Ford pulling the cover off the 2015 Mustang but rumors and renderings seem to keep popping up. The latest rendering comes to us from Inside Line and I must say its the best we have seen so far.
