We hate to see vehicle carnage like this but its not everyday you get to see a Shelby GT500 totally destroyed by a maniac driver hitting a concrete bridge support. The female driver of the 2008 Shelby GT500 was clearly driving to fast for the conditions as she tried to avoid on-coming traffic only to lose control, spin-out and hit the concrete bridge support head-on. Parts were sent flying including the 5.4-liter V8 engine that ended up in on-coming traffic which was hit by another car. One of the doors, a wheel and part of the frame landed a good 30 yards away.
The driver survived with severe leg injuries and was taken to the hospital. From the photo its a miracle anybody survived the accident. Check out a few photos below.

Just HAD to mention the driver was a woman, huh?
The women I know could drive circles around the writer of this lame story.
SAD.
…. touchy …. is it that time of the month or are you always this defensive?
It’s a fact. Live with it. There are exceptions of course.
Assuming anyone you know can drive better than the author is dumb, though. You don’t know the authors driving skills. Hypocrite.
Apparently she’s not the driver you think she is. #goofball
Do you have a computer with internet connection in your kitchen?
The problem is is that women aren’t as good drivers as men in general. They THINK they are, but they’re simply not. Get over it, thats life.
Good grief. It was a woman, who cares? Maybe next time the author should put race, religion, sexual orientation and age of the driver so more people like you can whine. This website is the best on the Internet for Mustang information. If you don’t like the reported information, you don’t have to read it. Long live Mustang.
Sorry if I offended anyone, just reporting the news. Thanks Red Ryder.
i dont see what the big deal is relax.. theres no point to get all mad…..
