Last June Ford’s Special Vehicle Team (SVT) set out to reach a top speed of 200 mph for the 2013 Shelby GT500 at the Nardo Ring in Southern Italy. Its one of only a handful of places on Earth you can reach such speeds legally with its 7.8-mile high speed oval.
