The December issue of Car and Driver just hit news stands with a 2015 Ford Mustang feature showing us what they think the new pony car will look like. They give details about the body, interior and powertrain lineups as if they have inside information. Basically they are just reaffirming what we already know but their latest renderings are by far the best we have seen yet.
Check out the illustrations below and let us know in the comments if you think this is the 2015 Mustang design.
The taillights are so 1969.
Cover the front end and tail lights and it looks like a 2 door Honda Accord coupe. The rear quarter panel b pillar and c pillar are too soft. Looks too euro, not american enough.
True but at least it’s not a clone of the Fusion. I was really concerned about that. Ford says they have to sell the Mustang in Europe. I guess they need the global sales to make any money on it. Ford is a smaller company then GM. But I agree; I’m not crazy about the Euro style influences. I would like a more aggressive (American) line to the body. However IRS and more power will still entice me enough to buy one.
