Vaughn Gittin Jr. and the Monster Energy/Nitto Ford Mustang took home a Win and some nice hardware at this past weekends Formula Drift event at Road Atlanta. Vaughn qualified third overall which put him in a good spot for Saturdays round of 32. As he made his way through the field he took out fellow Americans Justin Pawlak and Chris Forsberg en route to his Championship Win.
In the finals Gittin matched up against Fredric Aasbo in the Hankook Tire Scion Racing tC where he was successful. Next up for Vaughn is Round 3 on May30-31 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
