It was a historic night in many respects but the show stopper had to be Lot# 3008, the First 2015 Shelby GT350R (Vin #0001) going up for auction at this years Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, AZ. The bidding started fast and furious for the first Shelby GT350R and it went all the way up to the final selling price of $1,000,000.In the end a phone bidder won out over someone on the floor. All proceeds from the auction benefit JDRF research.
CEO of Ford Motor Company Mark Fields was on hand to introduce the all-new Shelby GT350R which was just revealed about a week ago.
