The 2014 ROUSH Stage 2 Mustang is the little brother to the Stage 3 Mustang with emphasis put on the suspension and handling with no power adders.  The Stage 2 package is all about style and handling with its ROUSH sport-tuned suspension and aggresive exterior features.  The Stage 2 Mustang comes with the 420 horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine found in the Mustang GT.

Ford and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) have teamed up for the ninth straight year to auction off a custom one-off Mustang at the Gathering of Eagles charity event. This year the Mustang is dubbed ‘Ole Yeller’ which pays homage to the famous North American P-51D Mustang aircraft.

The Ford ‘Ole Yeller’ Mustang is based off the GT350 which features the 5.2L Ti-VCT V8 engine with Flat Plane Crank producing 526 horsepower. Check below for more photos and details. … Continue Reading

Apollo Edition Ford Mustang In All Its Glory

For the eighth straight year, Ford Motor Company has created a unique, aviation-inspired Ford Mustang to benefit Experimental Aircraft Association youth education programs, including the Young Eagles. The Apollo Edition Mustang will be donated and sold via auction at the Gathering of Eagles charity event, July 23, at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015 – the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration.

All proceeds from the sale of the car will benefit EAA youth education programs, including the Young Eagles, which has provided free introductory flights to more than 1.9 million young people since 1992, helping grow the next generation of aviators.

Ford and Petty’s Garage to Build 143 limited-edition Mustang GT’s

The flood gates have opened for the first 2015 Mustang GT limited-edition vehicles and the winner is Petty’s Garage. Ford and Petty’s Garage will team up to build 143 limited-edition 2015 Mustang GT’s in Stage 1 and Stage 2 versions.

All Petty’s Garage Mustang GT’s will feature a Ford Racing/Roush supercharger mated to the 5.0-liter V8 engine. Output for the Petty’s Garage Mustang GT’s are said to be 627 horsepower. Other goodies found on this limited edition Mustang GT include unique interior and exterior treatments along with Richard Petty’s signature on the dashboard. Not to be outdone this year by all the 2015 Mustang debuts, Classic Design Concepts will debut their “Outlaw” package for the new 2015 Mustang at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. CDC is bringing two 2015 Mustangs with one being a Fastback coupe and a convertible version. The convertible “Outlaw” Mustang will be featured in the Ford Motor Company Booth while the Fastback coupe will be show in the CDC booth.
