July 2015 Ford Mustang Sales Stay Solid

As the Summer heats up across much of the country Ford Mustang sales seem to have hit a dry spell as month-t0-month sales took a dip. Coming off some of the best sales months in a long time sales of the Mustang in July took a dive by some 3200 units but remain solid. Why the dip you may ask? Historically July and August are typically lower than the previous months. Maybe the budget tightens as kids return to school and maybe folks are out of town on vacations. Whatever the reason lets not hit the panic button just yet. Expect lower numbers again next month as Summer comes to a close.

June 2015 Ford Mustang Sales Stay Strong

Ford Mustang sales numbers have been released and to nobody’s surprise sales remain strong for June. Month-to-month sales dipped a bit but they remain in 5-figure territory which is a plus and they were up over 50% from the same month last year. Mustang sales should continue to be strong but expect numbers to flatten out through the Summer.

May 2015 Ford Mustang Sales Heat Up

Ford Mustang sales are really cooking as they posted another month-t0-month increase and have their best May since 2007. Sales of the all-new 2015 Mustang have hit their stride and are poised for a big Summer as the weather starts to heat up across the nation.

Sales of the Ford Mustang for May of 2015 were 13,616 compared to 9,761 from May of 2014 showing a 39.5% increase in sales from the previous year. Year to date Mustang sales are 56,571 compared to 36,600 for 2014, which is a 54.6% increase from the previous year. … Continue Reading

Ford Mustang February sales numbers are in and for all practical purposes they were similar to January’s totals. The numbers don’t tell the entire story as February is a short month to begin with and the weather played another big role in hampering sales. The Winter storms rolling across most of the country at various times throughout the month kept folks away from the dealerships. January 2015 Ford Mustang Sales up 124%

Good news and bad news for Ford Motor Company, Mustang sales are up 124% in January compared to the same month from 2014 but month-to-month sales were down 8%. The month-to-month decline has to be concerning for Ford with the launch of an all-new Mustang and we are only four months into sales/deliveries.

Why the decline in month-to-month you might ask? One word, “Weather”, yes the cold temps and snow have blanketed much of the country and even a massive blizzard hit the Northeast shutting down several states for days.
