Ford goes
big at SEMA this year with the introduction of a Trio of Shelby
GT500 Mustangs each with specific goals in mind for the Street,
Track and Dragstrip.
The most powerful of the three is the
2007 Shelby GT500 Professional Road Racer with the 5.0-liter Cammer
engine stuffed under the hood putting out more than 500 horsepower.
The Drag Racing GT500 dubbed the “Dragin
Snake” was built by Paul’s High Performance of Jackson,
MI for one reason and one reason only, to kick ass in the quarter
mile. This vehicle includes a mixture of Ford Racing and PHP parts
that combine to make one hella drag car.
The baby of the three if you can even
say that is the Shelby GT500 Road and Track version which creates
in the neighborhood of 600 horsepower through the addition of Ford
Racing Performance packs and other odd FRP parts. This GT500 can
actually be duplicated with the right amount of funds and a Ford
Racing Catalog.
Look below for detailed lists of all
the features on these three GT500’s.
