anyone know how to turn out my airbag light i read somewere
you could use a resistor but dident give any details for a 98 mustang both bags blown and i dont want to replace them
(no i dont want to put a piece of electrical tape on it : )

First and foremost, you need to have the system properly diagnosed, and retrieve any DTCs that have been set.
There is a thermal resistor in the SRS module that may be open, so even if you place a resistor in the airbag connectors, it doesn't mean the lamp will go out.
Missing or damaged crash sensors,and wiring will also do the same thing.
The resistor trick only works, if the rest of the system is in proper operating condition.
You could also remove the cluster and replace it w/ a custom unit from say, Florida 5.0
Get yourself a wiring diagram and study the circuit, you'll be able to figure out what to do to shut off the lamp.
