I have recently purchased a 91 Mustang 5.0.I drove it for about a week or so and then just about ran it out of gas. After that is when the trouble started happening. It runs good when your parked in neutral. When I try to drive it it seems to almost shut down when I give it to much gas.I have exhausted about every possible problem I could think of.Tryed putting a pressure tester on the fuel line, fuel pumps fine.Put new fuel filter on,spark plug and wires, distrubutor cap and rotor.I even purchased a diagnostic tester and found there was a bad egr valve and sensor so replaced that.I also put a throttle positioning sensor on and set it correctly. But still it seems to cut out when I give it to much gas and sometimes even cuts out when not giving it much. Please can someone give me some advise,I am running out of money and patience. Please help me.

shibby might be able to help you better on this ,but I had similar problems with my fox Mustangs.

You may want to make sure you gaped the spark plugs right, make sure every wire is snapped on correctly. Also check to make sure you have the wires in the right spots. I have F--ed that up a couple times. Check your vacuum lines that are all over and make sure those are on. You didn't say if you changed the injectors or not. Might want to check those out to if you have not.

I am sure I am missing something...shibby where are you.
