shaved door handles

I am working on a 67 coupe. I have seen several of these cars with shaved door handles. I can do the body work but can find no one who has done this modification. Can anyone out there assist?

Alum. shelby 427(454) stroker,blower motor. We are going to do away with the custom 2x4 Holley blower hat and go with a polished FE 6-71 GMC blower intake running a polished Whipple supercharger EFI setup!
Car has 15.5" hoosier ProStreets on the rear.Full coil over,36" ladder bar setup,Anti-roll bar,Currie Narrowed 9+ ,40 Spline ,Detroit Locker rear end. Narrowed 4" each side. Full 2x4" square box frame with frame stiffener like the ELEANOR SS cars but ours are 2" thick wall tubing and welded in!
TKO 600 5-Speed,Lakewood Clutch cable setup.Kevlar/Kevlar clutch.
Shelby front end was made into a 1 piece, flip top,front end like the old Cobra Daytona's. Stainless steel fire wall & Splash panels.
Interior will be custom made using shelby Series 1 Front seats and 05 Mustang Vert. Rear seats in the back.
custom Autometer Dash with a 5", 9 grand Tach and a5" 200 MPH Speedo,with the rest of the gauges being 2 5/8" autometer. Custom built center console wrapped in Matching leather!
Our car has already been SACTIONED by the Shelby American Automobile Club(SAAC) so our car will be running there emblems also!
colors willl be : exterior -Torch Red
Interior-Torch Red & Black seats like the 06 Shelby's.:D
