i just rebuilt my 87 5.0 motor and it seems like its not as strong as before the rebuilt what could of have went wrong with itdo anyone knows what wrong thank you

2 thing that i can think of. 1 check the ignition timing and see if is set at 10 deg. BTDC. or 12. i set mine at 14deg.BTDC. and 2 ,recheck the timing on the timing gears. the 2 dots, one on the crank gear and one on the cam gear should be facing at each other straight up and down. don't forget to remove the connector plug that is next to the distributor when checking and asjusting ignition timing. hope this helps.
