The cheapest way to do it is get a newer mustang rear end. If you get a 94-95 rear it is 5 lug disk and it isn't all that much wider then the one you have now. You will also need the front spindles to go along with it. If you want to do it real cheap you can go to 50 resto and buy their kit that is about $300 and i 5 lug drum but you will have clearence issues with many popular rim sizes

That is pretty much what is in 50 resto's kit. It works just fine you just have to worry about backspacing of your wheels and width of your tires. 50 resto also sells rims make with the correct backspacing.

thanks. the wheels that i have are the stock 17x8 double 3 spoke that came on the 94-95 mustang gt with the sport package. their kinda rare wheels. i'm not sure if they are the R58 or the M179 model wheels. not sure about the spacing. I think these wheels also came on the 93 cobra R painted black. the p/n i've seen on the wheel is F4ZC-1007-FA if this helps.

Those rims are a little different then the 93 R wheels, mainly the backspacing is different. I think that they will work but I am not 100% sure.

if you are trying to do this cheap, this is what will work
85-91 lincoln mark 7, continental rotors
84-86 mustang svo rotors
83-92 ranger, bronco, left axle only
86-97 aerostar(right side) (must have 4.0 liter engine)
axle length is 29 5/32"
