hey i got an 87 mustang 5.0 with an aod the car is bone stock with an rebuilt motor and tranny the only promblem is that i want to put some mods on it but dont have an clue what to do i want to get it to the 300 to 350 horse and still pass smog any one got or know what is best for me to get it to my goals thank you

To get that many horses I would just slap on a vortech 5psi supercharger. It is very mild compared to superchargers and should not hurt the engine.

You can always go the route of usuall bolt ons, pulleys, air intake, throttle body, heads, full exhaust.

What kind of budget are you working with. Are we talking thousands or hundreds. I can get you to 350hp real easy a couple different ways, but it all depends on your budget. Like my machine shop guy said:

will i got another 302 motor on the side and have about 2,500 to put on the car
