Went to the Ray Oldham Memorial race at Kennedale this weekend and finally got in the 7's in the 1/8th.
Times were
1.59 60ft
5.07 330ft
7.95 1/8th mile @ 84.27mph (in 4th gear)

I did figure that I am going to have to shift into 4th (with 4.30's) at the end or I am hitting the rev limiter prior to going through the traps. I tried running through the traps, twice, in 3rd and hit the limiter both times.

Here is a link to the run:

Great Time!!! Your Car is Stock right :D I'd be happy with 8.99 in the 1/8th. My best time is 9.2 with 2.0 60 ft. but only 77 mph  any ideas??? I see you have 4.30 gears what kind of rpm's do you have on the highway at around 70. I use my car for alot of trips I don't want to be hitting the rev limiter on the interstate. Later Greg

Well.......................
Stock body, stock interior...(http://www.matherracing.com/2001_GT.html)

Actually, I still havent drove its to full potential. I should still be a few tenths quicker. "When" i drove it on the street, I had 4.10's and loved it. Now it see's track time only and the 4.30's have only been in the car for about a month and a half. I still visit the car once a week, in storage, racing or not.

Thought I would add a link to a photo taken at Ennis. This one is hanging on my wall :D .
