Designed to replicate the look of the Golden Age of Trans Am Racing in the late 60?s and early 70?s Kenny Brown has unveiled his CSR-69 Ford Mustang.

This pony was engineered by the guys at Kenny Brown to showcase the many parts that KB has available for the 2005-2006 Ford Mustang. Since KB is best known for the handling of his cars that's where the modifications started. The guys at Kenny Brown added a set of KB rear coil overs, KB Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms, KB Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Module, and a KB Panhard Bar. Other handling upgrades include a set of Koni Double Adjustable Struts, and a set of Forgeline ZX3R 3-Piece Racing wheels mounted on Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.

To further enhance the handling of this ride a KB set out to stiffen things up. Engineered for this job was a KB 6-Point Super Street Cage, KB Strut Tower Brace, KB Lower Chassis Brace, and exclusive KB Jacking Rails.

Now that Kenny knew that the CSR-69 could handle the twisties he decided it was time for more power. For that he went to FRPP (Ford Racing Performance Parts) who contributed a set of headers, a high flow x-pipe, high flow mufflers, larger capacity aluminum radiator and an A/C eliminator kit. With the extra go power you need extra stopping power, so KB went back to FRPP for a set of Ford Racing/Brembo 14? front brakes which Kenny choose to cooled with KB front brake ducts.

Since Kenny is obviously going to be thrashing this ride around a road course somewhere he needed a set of supportive seats. For that he went to OMP where he got a pair of Comfort Lusso seats and harness belts. For shifting KB added a Ford Racing/Hurst shifter and an exclusive KB Dead Pedal that gives the drivers left foot proper support for quick use of the clutch.

Topping off the classic Trans-Am racecar look is a Mustang 69 Styling Package that includes raised rear quarter panels with integrated spoiler, deletion of the quarter window, front fender air extractors and a chin splitter. The paint for the CSR-69 Concept is an exclusive color called ?Red Hot Red? that was created and expertly applied by the crew at Matrix Automotive Finishes in Detroit, Michigan.

Cool. I had seen pictures of this car before, but none of them said who built it or what all was in it and done to it. Thanks for the info. That is one good looking Mustang  .
