I used some of that Mothers metal polish stuff on an old EGR from a previous car. It worked great. The EGR valve is nice and polished. I will have a pic up soon.

We are coming out with a new section called tips and tricks. This will be in there. How to polish your engine parts to look like a mirror. Keep your eyes peeled for it.

I've used some stuff before that looks like cotton. You tear a piece off and start rubbin'. This stuff works like a charm. I took off my tailpipe tipa and gave them a once through. I just can't remember what it was. It was in a little tin can though.

I think I know what you are talking about Skooter. I believe its made by Eagle One. Its in a silver can I think. I saw it at Walmart.

You mean Never Dull by eagle one? That stuff works but it is a pain to use. Does anyone know where I could find mothers billet polish?

The stuff skooter is talking about is Nev R Dull. It can take a little getting used to but , I have used it and the Mother,s and the Eagle 1 outshines Mother's. Also, If you don't use it very much, the Mother's will dry out in it's can after about a year. I haven't had that problem with the Nev R Dull.

I used Nevr-Dull until I found Metal Masters. It's an impregnated cotton wadding like Nevr-Dull. I found that on highly polished aluminum Nevr-Dull actually hazes it slightly. It works great on polished aluminum and it's a lot easier to buff it off. Then I wax it with NuFinish car polish to coat it. (Makes it a lot easier to wipe off, and protect it from oxidation etc.) I'm getting ready to ship my car to the U.S. and was wondering if anybody knows what I could spray the motor down with to protect it in shipping? I might not get it for 3-4 months and I have a feeling the first time I pop the hood it's gonna look pretty nasty. I was thinking about silicon spray? Mainly the chrome rusting is what I'm worried about. Appreciate any advice.

How do you get stains out of clear coated aluminum wheels? I have Centerline Hammers.
