I have an 89 GT and just bought a SVO upper and lower intake manifold as well as a 65mm throttle boddy and egr plate. I paid $100 for it. The problem is that the guy said it was from an 89 Saleen, but I have my doubts. While I know that it is an SVO manifold for sure it looks like it is a later model, like a 94 or 95. The 87-93 manifolds do not have a curved part where the throttle body goes. If I am right and this is a later manifold will I still be able to use it? What will I need to do to make it work?. I found one on ebay that is just like it, except I have the throttle body for it. I did go to an uto parts place and the gaskett kit is $27 for it. Also I posted this on a hot rod forum and the Ford expert (MR Ford to be exact :) ) said that it wil be a direct bolt, on but I will need to change the throttle body cable to match the new intake.

It definately is a 94-95 upper and lower. I've got one in my Mustang. I just don't know what else it will fit in.

You are going to have some issues hooking it up. With the throttle body and EGR in a different spot everything the connects to them may have to be extended. You are also going to have issues finding an intake system to work with this.
