Need Help Starting my Project

I've had my 68 coupe for about three years now, but haven't really cracked the surface as far as restortation. So everything in other words has to be done. The body is straight thats about it looks great from a distance, however shes not what she should be. I need to know wheres the best place to start on her. I'm thinking to start with suspension work up to brakes, then powertrain etc. Leaving cosmetics for last. Just wanted some advice. Thanks Matt

Matt, Be sure and check the Floor Pans ,Torque Boxs and look for trunk floor pan rot as mustangs are notorious for Having Major rust in these places!;)

Hey matt I am finally getting around to restoring my 66 mustang and have had it for awhile. Finally got time and extra money. Just thought as we both work on our cars we could help each other out. If we can....like the last poster said would check for rust. Right now I have to worry about rust on my car as well. Just wondering were are you getting some of your parts from?
