need advice i have a '91 mustang 5.0 it has an aod tranny as you all probably know it isn't worth a crap for drag racing, is it worth getting a manual valve body to make it better or should i just chnge it and to what i like bracket racing so i think a five speed would be to inconsistent, also it has stock gears in the rear what should i put in it?

in an auto, I would put 373 gears. That should help out alot.

If you are going to keep that aod then I would suggest going with a wide gear ratio kit. Some police cars have this option. The only problem is finding someone to install the kit. As far as a gear a 3:73 works great!!! If you decide to go with the WGR kit then a 3:55 would be better. Remember you will have to have a different speedo gear to keep the speedometer correct. My suggestion to you is chunk the aod and get a six speed I did and I have never looked back.
