lowering question

New to the site....got an 02 GT and purchased a set of the Ford Racing "C" progressive springs. Anyone used these springs? If so how much did they lower the car? They advertise 1-1.4 front and rear (if memory serves me correct). I plan to do the job this weekend finally. I bought the springs last year, yes I'm the greatest procrastinator when it comes to crawling underneath!!

I hear you on procrastination, as I get older I want to get under the car less and less. I remember doing my exhaust a few months back and I was sore for two days after.

Those springs should lower your car to a nice mean looking stance. If ford racing says they will lower your ride height 1.25 inches I would go with that. Ford Racing is pretty solid as far as numbers go because of the extensive testing they do.

dont drop it too much man my 02 is lowered and i drag on everything you have to pick and choose what bumps you can go over and it makes the ride real real rough, but its better in the corners and it looks sweet

Little late on the reply, however I had those on my 01 at one time. Lowered about 1.25 front and .75 rear. Gives your stang an old school stance.
