Alright heres the question. On a '97 V6 mustang would a turbo work? Ive only seen one or two companies that actually makes the kits and their dyno tests aren't to impressive. I've seen really good supercharger kits out there but i look the sound a feel of a turbo. Let me know what you think.

P.S. Don't reply get a new motor cuz i've heard that one before.

One of my friends is putting a T-3 turbo on his v6 stang. He says he is gonna get it all done for less than a grand because he is doin most of it himself. Because the engine is made with cast pistons and known for less than perfect head-gaskets, I'd say don't run more than 8 intercooled psi with at least 91 octane fuel. You can find a good turbo on EBAY for around $200 and get a buddy with a welder and fab up your own piping if you have the time and patience.

im doing a junkyard turbo kit myself..im sure i can help with some questions..how much power do you plan on running? im not sure if the t-3 is big enough for your 6 cyl though, you probably could go bigger easily..
