I'm gonna buy a new cat-back exhaust and i want to know what kinds of exhausts you guys would recommend. I have a 90' 5.0 lx and I'm looking for something to up my horsepower and give me a nice smooth growl. my price range is about $150-$200 dollars (or somewhere close to that). Thanks for you input guys.
p.s. if you also have a link to any of these exhausts, don't be afraid to stick it on here.

I'm very happy with my MAC cat-back system. Extremely easy installation, chrome tips, nice distinct tone. I'd stick with the 2.5" Cat Back w/ 2.5" Chrome Tips unless you are pushing some serious stuff out of the pipes.

Well, i bought some cat-backs. I went with the flowmasters (american thunder 2 1/2 inch). They look awesome and I can't wait to put it on. Its still a little crappy over here in WI so i'm gonna wait for some nice weather to put it on. Now I'm gonna buy an H-pipe (no cats). Any suggestions?

Magnaflow makes one of the best quality catbacks around.

I agree with scooter. I also have a MAC cat-back with a MAC off road h pipe. The installation is severely simple, bolts right together. Great price, great sound. I get alot of ppl asking me what kind of exhaust I have. Even some guys that have flowmaster exhaust like mine better........but to each there own..........later

i have a complete mac exhaust on my lx. longtubes , pro chamber, and dumps in the rear... keeping the tailpipes long increases torque, and keeps the inside exhaust tone down too. for a daily driven car i would suggest keeping the pipes on the cat back. its almost too loud at wot with out them!

What I have found is that Bassani xhaust, or MAC is the best out there. You will be happy with either one of these.
