Dire straits for Ford, will they survive

I love the Mustang but I think Ford overall has done a really bad job and have ignored the market for too long. Now they are selling Aston Martin in hopes of staying alive.

Is Ford on the path to death?

I dont think Ford will go away anytime soon, they will keep laying off people and closing plants until they get to a level where they are profitable and try and rebuild from there. A few new hit models would not hurt either.
