As Mrigney mentioned before the big website crash, he just got a 2001 Cobra. Man this thing will run. My dad and MRigney were at my house the other day, and I said to MRigney, "Take him [dad] for a spin." He said, "You wanna take him out?" ..................................... I took my dad out and showed him what the Cobra could do. **WARNING** Mrigney don't read between the lines.

I let the Cobra warm up a little and then WOW. I couldn't help laying some rubber. This thing was revving around 6000 with no problems. I was even able to get 4th gear scratches as I ran around the block. You should have seen my dad's face as I ran it through the gears. I just couldn't help myself with such a truely amazing car.

Carry on MRigney!

Thanks a bunch for letting my take the Stang out. I must say I am very jealous.

I'm sure the car can handle the abuse with those granny shifts you do.

I think I need to change Skooters title to Granny Shift!
LOL

Drive It Like You Stole It.......

You guys think skooter is jealous. I'm jealous because I haven't driven it yet. When El Presidente got his '97 Cobra he brought it over to show me the goods. As I slid in the driver seat he threw the keys in my lap, shut the door, and hopped in the passenger seat General Lee style. I was quite impressed with its ability to pull the steering wheel of your hands with a healthy second gear slam. I can only imagine what the '01 can do. I'll update you guys after I get behind the wheel. I'll probably have to take these two Cindy Brady's with me and show them a thing or two.

Okay MRigney, I warned you!!

When I was getting those 3rd and 4th gear scratches, I was power shifting from gear one. Never took my foot off the clutch. Be careful with 2nd gear, thinge tend to get squirlly.

I know, I almost lost her today. If you shift fast enough in 2nd it can get out of hand.

I think someone needs to get El Presidente some of those plastic seat covers. If he doesn't get those 2nd gear shifts in order there might be an accident.:(

In a couple years when some rich dude decides to sell his 03 cobra with only 500 miles because he thought it was going to be a collectable. After he has taken a bath on it I will swoop in and get a hella deal.

That day will come, Mark my words.......

There was a point where we all (skooter, MRigney, Shibby) had red SN95s. (Dorks!!) It was like a parade of all red Mustangs coming down the road. Just for the record, I had mine first. :D

Contrary to what skooter says, I'm 25 going on 40. (And I don't know too many people that would kick Britney out of bed. As for her music I love it.)

Hey life's short! If you pony up for a 2003 Cobra you won't be dissappointed. Got mine for $29,750 with 3,500 miles. Original owner sold because he was scared of the car. Believe me....this car g o o o o o o o o s. Put the 2001 on the back burner and drive a 2003 first and ah.. don a pair of rubber pants...hate to soil those beautiful leather seats:)

Don't worry I will get one of those someday. By the time I get one of those they will have another cobra with 50 more horsepower or maybe even more. Just another car to drool over for now.

Someday, Someday...sounds like a song or was that Monday, Monday? Anyway, fossil burning carriages may follow the way of the dinosaur. The world is a rock'n and a shak'n and when the oil hits the fan and the ash settles whata we got--- hydrogen or battery powerd carriages? Maybe water power or some yet undiscovered go-gas? How about an aerodynamic frictionless bicycle? Wonder if any of these will have a neck snapping 390 horses under the hood. Or, maybe, political forces may hurtle us back into bygone days of Those Boots are Made for Walkin...another song? 'Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.' Now that's great philosophy!:)
