the factory cam gears are very innacurate. The can be off +/- 5 degrees on each bank . Crower maped out the factory camshafts and gave me the figures. With the advailability of ajustable cam gears why not optimize the factory cams. Part of the reason for this is the can can run smoother make more power and burn cleaner. Aftermarket cams might not pass the sniff test in states that tail pipe test and the republic of california.
