This was my baby before and somebody stole it right from my driveway one night. The PoPo's found it a few weeks later on the side of the road. The thieves stripped and burned it. It had pretty much every ad on you could buy. It was blue/gray with white leather that was perfect and a white top. It had 93 cobra wheels, cobra upper and lower intake, 65 mm throttle body, mass air, 4 point roll cage, strut tower brace, K&N filter, kenwood system, upper and lower control arms, cobra rotors and studs. BBK headers, h-pipe and flowmasters. It sounded like a rocket. I know it is only a car, but it was a nice one. After it was all said and done I got a 97 Cobra a few months later and it stays in the garage away from the evil people. Here are some pics of that horrible day when I had to see it.

So sorry for your loss sir.

Sounds like it was a great car. You have to watch out for people who don't respect the Mustang. Some people just want to chop them up and sell the parts. You came out great on that deal though getting a nice cobra. Light em' Up'

As I was driving down a not so good stretch of highway in west dallas the other day I noticed a conv. Mustang on the side of the road and it was laying in the grass and it looked exactly like the one I used to have, not so much the color. You could tell that it was stolen and somebody had ditched it on the side of the road. It was a fox-body conv. that was black in color and it was completely stripped. No engine, fenders, interior, trunk tailights, bumpers, etc.... Whoever owned that car was in for a surprise.

I wish they could catch people that do that stuff....

They need to bring back the firing squad for these guys. No trial, no jury, on the spot!

I was in that convertible a few times and helped with some of the bolt ons. It was clean guys, very clean. I'll see if we can find some pictures of it before it was torched. I'll never forget speeding down the two lane highway that takes you from Port Aransas to South Padre one cool spring break morning a few years back. We had the top down, the wind in our hair, and our ladies in the back. No radio on, just the sound of the Flowmasters constant deep 70mph, 2200rpm rumble with the light early morning ocean fog all around us. At that moment, we were kings with our queens and not a care in the world. I will never forget that car, neither will MRigney.............

Dude sorry for your loss...... People have no consideration or respect now days...... To do that to any car is is horrible but to do it to a stang is even worse...... I hope you keep a good eye on your new baby ;) I was lucky with mine, it was stolen while I was using a pay phone a few years ago..... I had a couple buddies see it cruising on the road the next morning and I got it back..... It wasn't in good condition but everything done was no where near the extent of yours...... So I feel for you and that poor mustang.....

What color blue was that? It was a BEAUTIFUL ride!
Don't you guys have Lojack down there?
You could have had the car back in a matter of hours, if not sooner.
Sorry for your loss, Now I know why you're itching for another ragtop.
