hey guys, i was just wanting some input on what gear i may go with. right now i have 3.31's and im really leaning toward 3.73's and a custom sct dyno tune, and work up from there. but everyone at the track is telling me to go with 4.10's. my delima is how much is the 4.10 goin to effect me on highway runs. i really want to hit a 12.60-13.00 which ive seen other s197's hit with 3.73's on street tires.

If you have an auto go with 4.10 but if you have a manual go with the 3.73. At least that is what I have read in the mags.

I believe that is the other way around. 3.73 for auto and 4.10 for standard. I have run 4.10's in my standard and loved them. Now running 4.30's.

I second this guy^^^. It will also make it so that 1st is an option for around town driving...:D

Go with the 3.73 a great all around gear.

4.10's are more for autotransmissions and for drag racing.
If you drive it alot on the street and freeways go with the 3.73.
