supercharger vs turbocharger

i am looking at making my 03 mustang gt 1/4 mile ready. what is better a supercharger or a turbocharger. what other mod would be important. thanks for your comments.

Is this also your daily driver? If it is you may want to follow what Ford did on the old super coupe's, the Lightnings and the Cobra's. They used a positive displacement supercharger. They make very good power, and also have good gas mileage. They make very good power from low RPM to peak RPM. A turbo does not really begin making power until the RPM gets higher. They can make more peak power at the top, but it takes a while to get things moving. I have one of these on my 2003 GT:
