starter removal

hello whats the best way to remove the starter on an 85 2.3 stang? i cant get the top bolt off. any suggestions?

I know my 5.0 it is easiest to get to it from the top. I reach around the header and get a little turn at a time. gear wrenches and shorty wrenches work well also
