no tach

I own a 95 mustang LX 3.8l. I just put a 5.0 in the car but I cannot get a tach signal. Does any one have any ideas for me???

if your talking about the stock cluster i would check to see if its plugged in, in the back of the cluster...but why not get a aftermarket gauge....it a ton more accurate and if your building a 5.0 you will want one eventually anyways....i have heard stock tach being off up to 750 and more..just a thought:D
