Three year plan, starting today. Year one, transmission, clutch, driveline, chassis brace, wheels and tires. Year two, suspension, IRS. Year three, engine and brakes.
For now, 4.6 four valve, Kenne Bell s/c with aftercooler. Hopefully, however, by year three the aftermarket will have caught up and 5.4 swap parts (manifold, headers) will be available. THATS what I REALLY want.
Wheels will be chrome 2000 Rs.
Trans will be D&D Performance(or similar) T56. Aluminum flywheel, Kevlar clutch, aluminum driveshaft.
03 Cobra IRS with truss brace, TorSen diff and 3.73 gear.
Baer or Brembo brakes.
K member, tubular arms, springs, shocks, yadda yadda.
Off road X with Borla XR 1s. Long tubes IF I can swap back in the cats and pass emssions.
Goal: 500 hp 500 pnds tq
1.0 g
60 - 0 braking 100ft
12 sec 1/4 (dont want to put a cage) and 130 trap (that part will be tough).

Are you going for a more 'road track' kinda feel? An 8.8 is really all you need for 12 second runs unless you plan on going to Mazda Speedway for some Viper-rompin!

If you're looking for 500+ rwhp, the Blowzilla combo would do great but moreover, a Vortech or Procharger can give you more!

I would love to see the specs on that tranny!

A friend of mine who works for Ford said that he hates that he put a Kmember on for daily driving.]

500 hp will definately be more in the 11s.

Yes, I want the IRS for uncompromised handling.
I HATE centrifugals.
Actually, 500 hp should get me high tens in ideal settings. However, I dont care about going quicker than 12 because I have to get a cage. 130 trap is what I care about.
:D
I envy you. I'm going for a mild 400 rwhp.
